NORFOLK, Va., Oct. 1, 2025 — Delaware State’s Marian Drazan was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Fellow Hornet Anezka Seifertova was named Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, giving the Hornets a sweep of this week’s awards. 

Drazan (Jr., Visnova, Czech Republic) claimed first place at the Salisbury Invitational with a time of 24:37, marking his third individual win of the season. 

Seifertova (Fr., Jilemnice, Czech Republic) placed 14th at the Salisbury Invitational with a final time of 23:04.50.
