NORFOLK, Va. – Following a dominant 66-0 win over Virginia State on Saturday, South Carolina State was the unanimous No. 1 selection in the latest Black College Football Division I FCS poll, receiving all 26 first-place votes and 520 total points.
Delaware State (No. 5), North Carolina Central (No. 7) and Morgan State (No. 10) also landed in the Top 10, while Howard received votes.
The Black College Football Poll is the first officially endorsed national poll dedicated exclusively to HBCU football programs competing at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and NCAA Division II levels.
The poll is jointly sanctioned by the MEAC, Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAC), providing a unified national ranking of HBCU football programs across both divisions.
