NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced Friday the addition of three experienced professionals to its staff, further strengthening the conference’s leadership in branding, communications and creative content.
Joining the conference office are
Vernon Dennis as assistant commissioner for brand strategy and engagement,
Isaiah Green as assistant commissioner for strategic communications and
Symone Wright-Flowers as director of graphic design and creative content.

Vernon Dennis
Dennis will serve as the assistant commissioner for brand strategy and engagement. In this role, he will oversee the conference’s branding, fan engagement initiatives and integrated marketing efforts.
Prior to joining the MEAC, he served as public relations and marketing manager for Lamar Jackson Enterprises, where he led communications and marketing efforts for two-time NFL Most Valuable Player Lamar Jackson.
Before joining Lamar Jackson Enterprises, Dennis spent seven years in the National Football League, serving in communications and public relations roles with the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Giants, Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens.
Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Old Dominion University. During his time at ODU, he gained valuable experience working with ODU Athletics and as an intern with the MEAC.
Isaiah Green
Green will serve as the assistant commissioner for strategic communications. In this role, he will oversee the conference's strategic communications efforts, including media relations and statistical reporting.
Before arriving at the MEAC, Green was director of strategic communications at the University of Pittsburgh, serving as the primary communications contact for women's basketball and men's soccer. Before that, he was assistant director of athletic communications at Wake Forest University, where he oversaw communications for women's soccer, men's tennis, track and field, and cross country.
A native of Spring Lake, N.C., Green played football at Methodist University before transferring to Winston-Salem State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in sport management. He later earned a master's degree in kinesiology from East Carolina University.
Symone Wright-Flowers
Wright-Flowers will serve as the director of graphic design and creative content. In this role, she will oversee and support the visual presentation of the conference brand across digital, social, print, championship and event-related platforms.
A native of Phoenix, Ariz., Wright-Flowers began her collegiate career at Grand Canyon University, where she competed as a multi-event athlete and contributed to five Western Athletic Conference championship teams. She later transferred to Shaw University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management while becoming a CIAA champion in the 400-meter hurdles.
Blending her background in athletics with expertise in branding and multimedia production, Wright-Flowers brings experience in graphic design, photography, social media strategy, event presentation and digital storytelling. Her work focuses on enhancing the student-athlete experience while creating authentic and engaging content that strengthens connections between institutions, athletes, fans and corporate partners.
Prior to her appointment with the MEAC, Wright-Flowers served as a graduate assistant with the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), where she supported communications, championships, creative operations, branding and event execution.
