NORFOLK, Va., May. 4, 2026 – Morgan State sophomore Olivia Pagano has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Softball Player of the Week while teammate Serena Rodriguez earned Pitcher of the Week honors.  

Pagano (So, OF, Staten Island, NY.) batted .500 (4-for-8) to lead Morgan to a 2-0 week with a doubleheader sweep over Bowie State. She recorded two triples, drove in three runs, three RBI, and two runs scored in the finale. 

Rodriguez (Jr., P, Simi Valley, Calif.) posted a 0.00 ERA over 6.1 innings, allowing no runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts, including a six-strikeout save in Game 1 and 3.1 scoreless innings to secure her fifth win in the finale.
