Delaware State’s Amina Hall was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Bowler of the Week, while teammate Ryan Starke earned Rookie of the Week honors. The awards reflect tournament play from October 12–19.
Hall (So., Silver Spring, Md.) posted outstanding performances across multiple statistical categories, finishing first in sum of overall average per frame (18.85), overall spare percentage (77.5), baker-only fill percentage (86.4), baker average per frame (19.08), and overall fill percentage (86.2). She also ranked fifth in striking percentage (38.8) and second in nine-count spare percentage (93.5). Hall placed 12th overall at the New Jersey Open, averaging 185.60 across five games.
Starke (Fr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) delivered a strong showing as well, finishing fourth in sum of average per frame (18.41) and baker average per frame (18.10). She also placed fifth in baker-only fill percentage (75.0), overall fill percentage (78.0), striking percentage (41.5), and nine-count spare percentage (86.4). Starke finished 10th overall at the New Jersey Open with an average of 188.20.
As a team, the Hornets finished third overall at the 2025 New Jersey Open, posting a 7–5 record. Delaware State recorded a traditional pin total of 4,656 and a baker pin total of 4,453, averaging 182.2 across 68 total games.
