ORANGEBURG, SC—Senior guard a Shaunice Reed tossed in a team-high 17 points, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State dropped a tough 64-58 loss in overtime to host UNC Asheville inside Kimmel Arena. 
 
South Carolina State falls to 2-7 overall, while UNC Asheville improves to 3-5 on the year. 


Maryland Eastern Shore def. Wichita State 56-52 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

WICHITA, Kansas — Amidst the Hawks continued streak of games on the road, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore took control of its game against Wichita State late to earn a 56-52 win behind three players' double-digit point efforts.  Lainey Allen led the team in points and rebounds with the double-double. Allen went 4-of-8 (50%) from the field while scoring a team-high 12 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.  Brianna Barnes helped initiate the Hawks' second half momentum and tacked on eight points in half while totaling 11 points. She also added a pair of assists and rebounds while grabbing a steal.

WASHINGTON (December 5, 2025) – Redshirt junior guard Zoe Stewart (Terre Haute, Ind.) scored a career-high 23 points and senior forward Zennia Thomas (Cleveland) contributed 14 points, but it was an all-around team effort that propelled the Howard University women's basketball team to a 72-69 win over Fairfield University in an entertaining and highly contested game at Burr Gymnasium. 

Howard travels to Norfolk, Va., to take on the Monarchs of Old Dominion Sunday (Dec. 7) at 2 p.m.
