WASHINGTON (November 8, 2025) – Redshirt junior Zoe Stewart (Terre Haute, Ind.) scored a team-high 15 points to lead four players in double figures as the Howard University women's basketball team cruised to an easy 89-53 win over Florida A&M University (FAMU) in a nonconference clash inside The Burr. 
  
All 11 players scored who suited up, led by Stewart connecting on 6-of-8 from the floor. Junior guard Destiny Bynum-Johnson (Newark, N.J.) contributed 11 points and six rebounds while freshman guard Emma Nuquay (Waldorf, Md.) and junior forward Rayne Durant (New Haven, Conn.) each tallied 10 off the bench.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. –The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (1-1) took care of its game against Cheyney (1-1) early in a lopsided 91-37 win. The Hawks jumped out to an early lead with a 26-7 lead after the first quarter and never relinquished the lead as they held the scoring advantage every quarter of the game. 

Freshman Kaliya Perry recorded her first career double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. She hit 7-of-9 shots (77.8%) while adding a pair of blocks and steals.
