ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's basketball team captured their second straight win in a 108-42 win over Trinity College of Jackson Tuesday (Nov.12) inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Mya Byrd led the way with a team-high 17 points and three (3) assists, while guard Shaunice Reed added 15 points and six (6) steals in the win. Lemyiah Harris chipped in 14 points and five (5) assists and Janiah Hinton finished with 13 points.

WASHINGTON (November 11, 2025) — Senior Zennia Thomas (Cleveland) scored a team-high 15 points and fellow classmate Nile Miller (Woodbury, N.J.) added 11 points to help the Howard University women's basketball hold off George Washington University (GW), 62-60, in a crosstown nonconference clash at the Smith Center.
The Bison will look to remain unbeaten when they travel to Elon, N.C., to play Elon University Saturday (Nov. 15) at 5 p.m.

PRINCESS ANNE MD-- The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (2-1) battled in a tight game that went down to the final whistle as the Hawks defended their home court in a 71-66 win against Monmouth.
Throughout the game, UMES was led by a pair of their veteran returners on the offensive end as Ashanti Lynch and Brianna Barnes scored 22 and 15 points, respectively.
