Coppin State def. Delaware State 3-2 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

DOVER, Del. – Coppin State's volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat Delaware State, 3-2 (30-28, 25-27, 20-25, 25-23, 16-14) on Sunday afternoon at Memorial Hall.  The Eagles improved to 19-11 overall and 12-1 in the MEAC while the Hornets fell to 10-17 on the year and 6-7 in league play. 
  
TaKenya Stafford and Cherisse Atilano once again posted double-doubles, as did setter Azul Pilahg as Coppin outhit Delaware State, .162 to .114. The Eagles also had a season-high 14 total blocks, their most since recording a school-record 17 in a 4-set win against Portland on September 16, 2023.  The 14 total blocks also matches a five-set school-record which last occurred in a win over Eastern Michigan on September 16, 2022. 


Norfolk State def. North Carolina Central 3-2 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk State volleyball team outlasted North Carolina Central in a five-set battle (12-25, 25-13, 25-21, 17-25, 15-13) on Sunday afternoon at Gill Gymnasium. 
  
Norfolk State improved to 5-22 overall and 3-10 in MEAC play. North Carolina Central dropped to 9-17 (6-7 MEAC). 
  
Gabrielle Gilbert led the Spartans with 19 kills, while Jasmine Mataira paced the offense with 39 assists. Mary Nahinu anchored the defense with 16 digs, followed by Mataira with 12 and Gilbert with 10. At the net, Ava Berry recorded a match-high eight blocks. 


Howard def. South Carolina State 3-1 BOX SCORE | RECAP  

WASHINGTON — Howard volleyball sent its senior group out in style, defeating South Carolina State, 3–1 (21–25, 25–18, 25–9, 25–13), on Senior Day inside Burr Gymnasium. With the win, the Bison improved to 15–9 overall and 9–4 in conference play, while the Bulldogs dropped to 5–21 (1–12 MEAC). 

Howard dominated statistically, posting a .293 hitting percentage compared to South Carolina State's .084. The Bison led in kills (62–31), assists (58–28), blocks (8–6), and digs (76–48). 

Kristen Dear led all players with 14 kills. 



Maryland Eastern Shore def. Morgan State 3-1 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks (10-16, 7-6) defeated the Morgan State Bears (11-12, 8-5) in four sets at Hytche Arena. 

Anjola Omolewa paced the Hawks with a team-high 14 kills on a .345 attack percentage. She also led the Hawks with four blocks.  Karielys Melendez (12) and Nkemjika Ikemefuna (11) each recorded double-digit kills in the victory
