HARRISONBURG, Va. – Taj Thweatt led all players with 18 points and the Coppin State men's basketball team outscored James Madison in the second half, but it was not enough as the Eagles fell, 84-70, on Sunday afternoon at Atlantic Union Bank Center. CSU fell to 0-3 on the season while the Dukes improved to 2-1.
DeMariontay Hall posted a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds while hitting 7-of-10 free throws while Hassan Perkins was the third CSU player in double figures with ten points and six rebounds in his first start of the season. Hussain Williams added eight points, followed by Baasil Saunders and Khali Horton with six points each.

BOONE, N.C. – North Carolina Central's men's basketball team kept up the pace in the second half, but the deficit was too much as the Eagles fell 76-54 to App State at the Holmes Convocation Center on Sunday afternoon.
NCCU completed a two-game weekend road trip and are now 0-3 this season.
Gage Lattimore and Tekao Carpenter were the only Eagles in double-figures, combining for 25 as NCCU struggled to find its rhythm.

WASHINGTON (November 9, 2025)— Graduate guard Bryce Harris (Brentwood, N.Y.) scored a team-high 15 points to lead four Bison in double figures, but Grambling State (GSU) made just enough plays to edge the Howard University men's basketball team, 73-70, in a nonconference HBCU showdown inside Burr Gymnasium.
