SYRACUSE, NY --The Delaware State men's basketball team got a 20-point performance from the bench, but fell 83-43 to the Syracuse Orange on the road Saturday. 

Ponce James led the Hornets (0-2) with nine points and two steals. John Clemmons tacked on eight points off the bench and Cyril Obasogie helped out with six points and seven rebounds from the bench. 


William & Mary def. Norfolk State 81-78 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's basketball team came up just short in a back-and-forth battle on Saturday evening, falling 81-78 to William & Mary at Echols Hall. 

Anthony McComb III paced the Spartans with 19 points, shooting 6-of-13 from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point range. Elijah Jamison and My'kel Jenkins added 15 points apiece, combining for 12 rebounds and eight assists. 


Maryland Eastern Shore def. Cheyney (PA) 104-59 BOX SCORE | RECAP 

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – A hot-shooting University of Maryland Eastern Shore squad cruised to a 104-59 victory over Cheyney on Saturday afternoon during Homecoming. 

Zion Obanla led the way with 17 points on a perfect 8-for-8 shooting performance. Jaden Cooper and Dorion Staples each added 13 points, while Javoy Thompson went 5-for-5 from the field for 11 points. Joseph Locandro rounded out the balanced attack with 10 points in the win.
