PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Three Eagles finished with double-digit kills as Coppin State's volleyball team took sole possession of first place in the MEAC with a 3-1 (25-21, 25-13, 17-25, 25-17) victory at Maryland Eastern Shore on Friday night at Hytche Center. CSU improved to 11-9 overall and 5-0 in the MEAC while the Hawks fell to 7-11 on the year and 4-1 in league play.
TaKenya Stafford led all players with 14 kills, eight of which came in the fourth and final set, to go with seven digs. A redshirt senior from Los Angeles, Calif., Stafford hit .316 on 19 attempts in the fourth set alone to go with four digs.

DURHAM, N.C. (October 10, 2025) — Howard University volleyball (9-7, 3-2 MEAC) battled to a 3-2 (23-25, 25-18, 24-26, 25-18, 15-10) road victory over North Carolina Central (4-13, 1-4 MEAC) Friday evening inside McDougald-McLendon Arena.
McKinnon led Howard with 18 kills and 12 digs for a double-double. Reeves posted a season- and match-high 49 assists and added 12 digs — her third double-double of the season. Buckner contributed eight kills and a match-high five blocks while Jethroe added 14 kills.
South Carolina State def. Norfolk State, 3-0 BOX SCORE | RECAP
ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State volleyball team posted an much need win with an 3-0 shutout victory over Norfolk State Friday (Oct. 10) inside Duke Gym.
South Carolina State improves to 4-13 overall, 1-4 MEAC, while Norfolk State falls to 1-17 overall, 0-5 in the league.
Leading the way for the Lady Bulldogs were Kiyah Felder with a game-high 12 kills and Robyn White with seven (7); Arianna James with four (4) aces; Kiyah Felder with four (4) blocks; Macey McCoy with 12 assists and Miya Benson with 12 digs in the win.
