ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State will enshrine its 2024 Hall of Fame Class Friday, Nov.1, at 7 p.m. at Sulit, located at 1005 Broughton Street. The Enshrinement will be preceded by a 6 p.m. Reception.

The event was initially scheduled for Sept. 27 at S-H-M Memorial Center on the campus but was postponed due to the threat of Hurricane Helene. All tickets purchased for the earlier date will be honored.

The 2024 Class includes six individuals and the 1992-93 Cheerleading Team

Individuals to be inducted include former athletes Rafael Bush (football), Retrina Lovett Dunn (track & field), Heyward Golden (football), Darius "Shaquille" Leonard (football) Joe Thomas, Jr. (football), and contributor Douglas Gantt.

Sixteen (16) members of the 1992-93 cheerleading team, which won the inaugural Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's Cheerleading Competition, will be honored.
