MEN’S RECAP
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Delaware State Hornets and Howard Bison competed at the annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Delaware State finished 42nd while the Bison were just behind in 43rd.
Leading the way for Howard was Eyob Gill (299) with a time of 26:15.3 while teammate Habtamu Epley (310) finished in 26:24.7.
Marian Drazan had the best finish of the day for MEAC competitors placing 84th with a time of 24:39.4 in the men’s 8K race. Drazan’s time is the second fastest time in the MEAC of male competitors in the men’s 8K race this season.
The next fastest Hornet, Devin Smith, crossed the line 26:07.4 to place 286th.
The Paul Short race saw 374 runners cross the finish line with 44 teams collecting a team score.

WOMEN’S RECAP
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Howard Bison competed at the annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Howard finished 40th as a team with 1,144 points.
Leading the way for Howard was Joslyn Crosby who finished 106th with a time of 21:27.8 in the women’s 6K race. The next Bison crossed the finish line a minute and a half later as Camille Egbula placed 285th with a 22:57.1 time.
