The bulk of the article revolves around the emphasis that Stills has put on her DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) hiring and elevating African American women within the conference ranks. He also uses quotes from their conversation to provide added context on how the MEAC Foundation will impact the conference and strengthen its current member institutions in the near future.
The article also highlighted the MEAC's recent athletic dominance over the SWAC, especially on the football field.
