BALTIMORE - The Coppin State Department of Athletics, in partnership with Business Services and the Office of Institutional Advancement, launched the CSU Eagle Insider App on Thursday morning.  The app is designed to provide students and fans another way to interact with Athletics and the University. Developed, SNAP Mobile, worked closely with the athletics department to make the app experience a unique blend of sports and campus events. 
 
The Coppin State Eagle Insider is currently available for free downloads in the Apple and Android stores.

The app comes loaded with a plethora of features to keep students, fans, and alumni informed with all events on campus.  Users of the app can opt into the Eagle Insider rewards program. Besides athletic events, campus events have been uploaded and assigned points.  Rewards members can accumulate points for attending academic or counseling workshops, athletics events, recreational fitness, and Coppin Repertory Theatre shows.   If it's on the schedule, you can earn points for attending.

Students and fans also have access to over two dozen athletics and campus life social media accounts including The Coppin Room, SGA, The Royal Court, and more.  Videos from the Coppin State Athletics YouTube page are just a click away as well.  There's a little something for everyone.  

The Coppin Community members needing tickets to basketball games, or the Repertory Theatre current showing of 'Pipeline,' are just click a click away.  The app is designed to bring the campus community together while still having athletics information at its core.  The Eagle Insider pulls athletics news, scores, and links directly from the athletics website www.coppinstatesports.com 

As a fan engagement piece, trivia questions related to Coppin State will be posted during athletic events.  Rewards members can earn more points for not only attempting the trivia questions, but additional points for selecting the correct answers.  Coppin community members searching for licensed CSU merchandise can simply use the Eagle Insider app to shop over a dozen retailers and vendors.
