COLUMBIA, Md. -- 
Jordan Hamberg was dominant on the mound and Brian Nicolas drove in three runs to lead the Coppin State baseball team to a 6-4 victory in the series finale with Maryland Eastern Shore on Sunday afternoon at Blandair Park.

The Eagles improved to 11-17 overall and are once again alone in first place with a 7-5 mark in league play.
 
Hamberg picked up his third win of the season, allowing just one earned run on four hits over 6.2 innings while striking out a career-high ten batters.  A sophomore from South Plainfield, N.J., Hamberg also drove in the team's first run of the game as Coppin never trailed.

Delaware State 12, Norfolk State 5

NORFOLK, Va. -- 
The Delaware State baseball team clinched a MEAC series over Norfolk State with a 12-5 win at Marty L. Miller Field on Sunday.
 
Evan Harris, who drove in four RBIs in Saturday's doubleheader, turned in a dominant performance on the mound Sunday afternoon. Harris struck out a season-high 11 batters through his 7.2 innings of work. He only allowed three hits and two walks and surrendered two runs during his outing.

For his performance, Harris earned his second win of the year.
 
At the plate, Mike Worthington recorded a four-of-five day with a team-best two RBIs. Those two RBIs came in the top of the ninth by way of a single through the right side that brought home Tre'Zhan Selby and Krew Bouldin.
