DOVER, Del. -- 
Sebastien Sarabia connected for a two-run single in the top of the ninth to lift Coppin State to a 4-2 MEAC victory at Delaware State on Friday afternoon at Bob Reed Field.

With the win, Coppin improves to 16-22 overall and take sole ownership of first place in the MEAC at12-9.
 
A sophomore from Simi Valley, Calif., Sarabia's game-winning hit came with the bases loaded and two outs. Brian Nicolas started the ninth with a walk and was sacrificed to second by Wellington Balsley. Josh Hankins then walked and the duo both advanced into scoring position on a wild pitch before Jordan Hamberg drew a walk to load the bases for Sarabia, who went opposite field for a base hit.

NORFOLK, Va. -- 
In Cameron Bratton's ninth start of the year, the senior was able to go the full nine innings for Maryland Eastern Shore, dominating Norfolk State to help the Hawks to a 4-0 win at Marty L. Miller Field.

The Hawks improved to 12-26, 11-10 MEAC on the season, while the Spartans fell to 11-25, 8-13 MEAC.
 
The Cumberland, Md., native set career highs in innings pitched (9.0) and strikeouts (8), allowing just a single walk and scattering four hits while inducing three double plays to get out of the few jams he found himself in.
