SALISBURY, Md. -- Jordan Hamberg
had a quality start of the mound and added a pair of hits and two RBIs at the plate in Coppin State's 6-2 MEAC victory over Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday afternoon at Perdue Stadium.
With the win, the Eagles (15-22, 11-9) split the four-game series with the Hawks and remain in first in the league standings.
A sophomore from South Plainfield, N.J., who is also up for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award, Hamberg allowed just one earned run on four hits while striking out six batters in 6.2 innings of work.
Hamberg also went 2-for-5 with two RBIs at the plate.

Delaware State 4, Norfolk State 2
DOVER, Del. -- The Delaware State baseball team clinched a MEAC series win over Norfolk State with a 4-2 win in Saturday's finale. The Hornets took three out of the four games this week.
Evan Harris recorded his fourth win of the year after pitching six innings in the starting role. Harris sat down eight Spartans, allowed six to walk and surrendered only one hit while only giving up one run.
Krew Bouldin and Mike Worthington and joined Trey Paige in the hit column in the win. As a team, Delaware State drew 11 walks, led by Jordan King, who was given a free pass three times during the game.
