NORFOLK, Va., April 1, 2022 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host its Student Leadership Symposium, featuring Disney on the Yard and CLMBR, on Friday, April 8 from 2-4 p.m. EST.
Avrum Elmakis, Founder and CEO of CLMBR, and Will Bagget, Founder and Senior Consultant of Emergent Executives are scheduled to speak. In addition, there will be a Disney on the Yard panel discussion featuring HBCU graduates who are now employed by the Walt Disney Company.
These employees will discuss Disney on the Yard, Disney’s initiative supporting HBCUs, discuss building a community of alumni and providing opportunities for HBCU students within The Walt Disney Company.
Each student attending the Student Leadership Symposium will automatically be selected to be a part of Disney on the Yard’s mentorship program.
