COLUMBIA, Md. -- 
Marcos Castillo hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the sixth inning and Johan Freudenburg threw three dominant innings to pick up the save in Coppin State's 3-2 MEAC victory over Delaware State on Sunday afternoon at Blandair Park.

The Eagles now stand at 7-12 overall and won the series 3-1, putting them in first place in the conference.

Wellington Balsley went 1-for-2 with two runs scored and reached base via the walk three times. Brian Nicolas drew a pair of walks and drove in a run while Hankins, Corey Miley and Landen Argabright all had base hits.

SALISBURY, Md. -- 
Raphy Rodriguez smacked a grand slam among his three hits on Sunday, helping send the Norfolk State baseball team to a 6-2 win over Maryland Eastern Shore at Perdue Stadium.

Rodriguez's grand slam broke a 1-all tie with two outs in the top of the sixth. It was the first career homer for the sophomore shortstop, who went 3-for-4 to help Norfolk State (5-12, 2-2 MEAC) earn a split of its first conference series of the season.

Rodriguez matched his career high with three hits, finishing 3-for-4 with two runs scored, four RBIs and one of the Spartans' four stolen bases. Jacob Council also went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a steal.
