NORFOLK, Va., July 9, 2021 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Esports Community has released its summer schedule, six community dates throughout July and August where the MEAC and member institutions will showcase esports and gaming.
The two--month community events are as follows:
Sunday, July 11: Knockout City
Sunday, July 18: Smash Bros.
Sunday, July 25: Call of Duty
Sunday, Aug. 1: Rocket League
Sunday, Aug. 8: Among Us
Sunday, Aug. 15: Apex
All full-time students, transfers, and incoming freshmen at MEAC institutions are eligible to compete in the summer community events.
The MEAC Esports Community’s mission is to provide support to member institutions in the development of collegiate varsity esports programs and to inspire minority students to become leaders in the gaming industry.

About the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is in its 51
st year of intercollegiate competition with the 2021-22 academic school year. Located in Norfolk, Va., the MEAC is made up of eight outstanding historically black institutions across the Atlantic coastline: Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Howard University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina Central University and South Carolina State University.
