MEAC 50th Anniversary: Voting Now Open for MEAC Legends of Coaching

NORFOLK, Va., June 21, 2021 –
As the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) wraps up the celebration of its 50th anniversary, the conference has now opened voting on the league’s Legends of Coaching.
 
Voting is open to the public; click here to access the ballot and click here to access supporting information on the nominees.
 
To be considered for the ballot, candidates must have served as a head coach in the MEAC for a period of at least four (4) years, must have won at least one (1) MEAC championship and must have had a winning record.
 
Voting ends on Monday, June 28.

 
 
About the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) celebrates its 50th year of intercollegiate competition with the 2020-21 academic school year. Located in Norfolk, Va., the MEAC is made up of 11 outstanding historically black institutions across the Atlantic coastline: Bethune-Cookman University, Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Florida A&M University, Howard University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University and South Carolina State University.
