DURHAM, N.C. --
The North Carolina Central baseball program posted a tally in all eight innings as it walked off with an 11-1 win over Delaware State in the bottom of the eighth to win the series on Sunday at the Durham Athletic Park.

NCCU (21-18, 13-11 MEAC) hit six doubles in the game to tie for the second-most in a single game in the modern era at NCCU, a feat last accomplished on April 9, 2017 against UNCW. Luis DeLeon had two of those doubles as he had his second three-hit game of the weekend with two RBI, three runs scored, and two stolen bases.

One of DeLeon's doubles was a "little league home run" when he made his way around the bases with help from a pair of defensive errors on the same play.
