HAMPTON, Va. -- 
Pinch hitter Cody Donnell stroked a single to left-center in the bottom of the ninth to plate Minjae Hong with the winning run as Norfolk State scored twice in the bottom of the ninth for a 10-9 win over Delaware State at War Memorial Stadium.

The Spartans ended the regular season at 18-10 in the MEAC and 22-26 overall, winning the series over Delaware State three games to one. Norfolk State captured the Northern Division title for the fifth time in the last six years to earn the North No. 1 seed in next week's MEAC Baseball Championship.

North Carolina A&T State wrapped up its season on Saturday with a 10-4 win over Coppin State at War Memorial Stadium to complete the four-game sweep.

Justin Williams homered for the Aggies, and he and Ryne Stanley both had two RBIs.

North Carolina A&T State wrapped up its season with a 22-25 record, 17-15 in MEAC play. But the preseason favorite Aggies ended up third in the division by winning percentage (.531 to Florida A&M's .536) and did not advance to the MEAC Baseball Championship.

Kokko Figeuierdo homered again on Saturday to help North Carolina Central close the regular season with a 6-1 win over Florida A&M at Durham Athletic Park to complete the four-game sweep.

The Eagles (25-18, 17-11 MEAC), who won the Southern Division, enter the MEAC Baseball Championship on a five-game winning streak.

NCCU has won nine of its last 11 games.

Figueiredo was 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs.
