MEAC Names 160over90 its Marketing Agency of Record

NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 23, 2021 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) today announced culturally-led, full service marketing agency 160over90 as its marketing agency of record.
 
160over90, an Endeavor company, will lead all strategic and creative efforts for the Conference, developing an overarching brand strategy that represents the MEAC and its key constituents; build a creative platform with a new look and feel to inform the MEAC’s marketing moving forward; develop and execute a public relations strategy to illustrate how the MEAC produces societal leaders; and help develop the MEAC’s digital and social content strategy. 
 
WME Sports, also part of the Endeavor network, will support the MEAC with its business development efforts, connecting the Conference to opportunities spanning sports, entertainment, esports, content strategy and execution, and virtual and live events.

Located in Norfolk, Va., the MEAC is made up of 11 outstanding historically black institutions across the Atlantic coastline: Bethune-Cookman University, Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Florida A&M University, Howard University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University and South Carolina State University.
 
160over90 began working with colleges and universities 15 years ago in an effort to completely redefine the category, applying the agency’s expertise connecting consumer brands to culture to the world of higher education. Today, the agency partners with daring institutions including Georgetown University, University of Florida, University of Virginia, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Arizona, and Tulane University to transform the effect their brands can have on student recruitment, fundraising, and reputation building.
