Regular-season competition got underway this past week, with several of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) esports teams going head-to-head in four different games.
On Tuesday, it was
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and
Rocket League, with
Call of Duty: Cold War and
Splitgate following on Thursday.
Tuesday, Oct. 12 -- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate action on Tuesday saw BigShadyPanda of Morgan State defeat Florida A&M's Spirit 3-0, while Morgan State's Golden663 eked out a 3-2 win over filthycasualgamer of Coppin State. Yango of Howard won 3-0 over Maryland Eastern Shore's HalfCalf.
Howard got two more wins: a 3-0 win from Spiras, who defeated Morgan State's Wonderfish, and a 3-2 win by Pekomwen01 over Florida A&M's Sylem.
Syderny of FAMU won 3-0 over Coppin State's Rhisktaker18, and Howard's ---gan--- was a 3-0 winner over GodKing of North Carolina Central.
Morgan State's MicroSSB won 3-0 over Howard's kennycosmic.

Tuesday, Oct. 12 -- Rocket League
Rocket League wrapped up Tuesday night's competition, with Maryland Eastern Shore going a perfect 2-0 after picking up a 3-0 win over North Carolina Central and a 3-1 victory over Morgan State.

Thursday, Oct. 14 -- Call of Duty: Cold War
Thursday's action got underway with
Call of Duty: Cold War, where Morgan State opened the season with a 3-1 win over North Carolina Central -- with BenGi at the controls -- while Howard was a 2-0 winner over Florida A&M, thanks to xaikay winning two matches before a forfeit.
Norfolk State and Coppin State were scheduled to compete, but there is no result currently on GYO.

Thursday, Oct. 14 -- Splitgate
There are no results currently available from Thursday night's
Splitgate matches; North Carolina Central was slated to take on Morgan State, with Howard and Coppin State scheduled to square off.
Action returns on Tuesday, Oct. 19, with more
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and
Rocket League action, and
Call of Duty: Cold War and
Splitgate resume on Thursday, Oct. 21.
