Five Bethune-Cookman players will be active this summer playing in two collegiate leagues.

Ryan Ayrey, Carlos Lequerica and Fabian Escalante are on three teams in the Florida Collegiate Summer League, which began play Monday morning. Ayrey is with the Winter Garden Squeeze, Lequerica the Winter Park Diamond Dogs and Escalante the DeLand Suns.

Matthew Garcia and Enrique Porchas are with the Amarillo Sod Dogs of the Texas Collegiate League, who open play Tuesday night.
