North Carolina A&T State senior Jarrett Norman was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Baseball Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.
North Carolina A&T State’s Tony Mack earned Rookie of the Week honors.
Norman (5-10, 185, Sr., Matthews, N.C.) was 7-for-13 (.538) at the plate this past week, driving in five runs and scoring five times in helping the Aggies claim the Southern Division crown for the second straight season. In Saturday’s doubleheader sweep of Florida A&M, he was 7-for-8 with all five of his RBIs and three runs scored. He had two doubles and a home run, and for the week, Norman slugged .923 and had a .600 on-base percentage.
Mack (5-7, 180, r-Fr., Smithfield, N.C.) went 9-for-13 (.692) at the plate with five RBIs and four runs scored. He had a home run and a double, while also recording a walk and a stolen base. He had at least one RBI in each of the Aggies’ four games this past week, and he had three hits each in the first and third games of the series against Florida A&M, and in the second game, he went 2-for-3.

Kaycee Reese (FAMU) went 2-for- in game two against North Carolina A&T State, and in four games this past week, he had four RBIs and four runs scored.
Robert Robinson (FAMU) had four RBIs in four games this past week, while also recording five hits and three walks.
