Bethune-Cookman took the first of a three-game set against Savannah State on Saturday, 13-0 at Sanford Memorial Stadium behind a complete-game shutout from Anthony Maldonado. The Wildcats were up 7-3 in the second game of the doubleheader before weather pushed the finish to Sunday at 1 p.m.

Coppin State head baseball coach Sherman Reed earned his 100th career win as the Eagles won the second game of a doubleheader at Maryland Eastern Shore 5-4 on Saturday afternoon at Perdue Stadium to earn the doubleheader split after the Hawks won the first game 3-2.
