PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) athletic marketing department has announced the promotional schedule for the upcoming Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Baseball Championship, May 19-22, 2016.
It all starts Thursday May 19, we “Salute the Sliver Sluggers” for Gray Day. Fans 55 and older come enjoy a great day of MEAC Baseball and receive 50-percent off admission.
On Friday, May. 20, we “Thank you for all that you do” for Salute to Service Day. We say thanks for all you do and hope you come out for a fun day of MEAC Baseball and receive half off an admission with an ID or in uniform/clothing.
Saturday (May. 21), come out to celebrate America’s past-time with your children for “Family Fun Day”. Kids 12 and under receive admission for $1.00! There will be kid contests, games and more. (One adult ticket purchase will allow up to 10 children in for $1.00 each).
To end out the tournament (May. 22), we are “honoring today’s game with the legends of yesterday” for Negro League Day. As we salute Negro League Legends from the Eastern Shore on championship day, all fans wearing a baseball jersey or shirt (Little League, Collegiate, MILB and MLB) get half price admission.

UMES is also encouraging their faculty, staff and students to attend the event. Anyone who presents a UMES ID at the time of purchase will be able to buy one ticket for half price each day of the MEAC Baseball Championships. The offer is also extended to all Salisbury University and Wor-Wic Community College students, faculty and staff.
