Jeremy Davis earned Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week honors in baseball, the conference announced on Monday. Teammates
Julio Morales was named the Pitcher of the Week, while
Brandon Turner earned Rookie of the Week accolades.
Davis (DH, 5-9, Sr., Saucier, Mississippi) batted .545 with six hits and six runs in 11 plate appearances. He posted two home runs and six RBI to extend the Wildcats win streak to eight games including a 3-0 record last week against Florida A&M.
Morales (P, 6-1, Jr., San Juan, Puerto Rico) recorded a 1-0 record and 0.00 ERA in a win over Florida A&M last week. Morales did not allow any runs against the Rattlers and struck out a career-high 11 batters. In the victory the senior walked one batter out of the 20 he faced and allowed only two hits in the win.
Turner (CF, 5-7, Fr., Orange City, Fla.) batted .500 in 10 at bat appearances to aid the Wildcats in four games last week. Turner recorded one triple, four RBI, and five hits in the victories.

Tre-Von Johnson (UMES) tallied three hits in three appearances and stole three bases in a loss to Savannah State.
Xavier Macklin (NCAT) totaled one home run, one double and five RBI in three games for the Aggies last week.
Jim Vagnier (CSU) recorded a 0.00 ERA and struck out a 10 batters during two games and 10 innings of play for the Eagles.
Phil Vaughn (UMES) tallied one double and three hits in four plate appearances in a loss to Savannah State.
Harry Williams (CSU) led the Eagles to a 3-2 week while hitting .545 along with three doubles and three RBI.
