Maryland Eastern Shore's baseball home-opening series with Rider slated for this weekend at Hawks Stadium has been postponed and will begin Saturday with a doubleheader at noon.

UMES (0-4) and Rider (0-0) will complete the four-game series with another doubleheader on Sunday, with first pitch again slated to come at noon.

The games were pushed back due to unplayable field conditions because of the large amount of snow that recently fell in the area.
