NORFOLK, Va. — North Carolina A&T State junior Victorya White has been named the 2026-27 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Preseason Bowler of the Year, as the Aggies were selected as preseason favorites to capture the conference title.

The preseason team and predicted order of finish were determined by a vote of the league’s head bowling coaches and sports information directors.

White returns after a strong sophomore campaign in which she bowled 1,025 frames and averaged 20.26 pins per frame. She recorded an 85.3 percent overall fill rate, including a 49.9 percent strike rate and a 70.6 percent spare conversion rate. White was particularly effective on single-pin spares, converting 93.4 percent of her opportunities.

In the MEAC preseason poll, the Aggies received 11 first-place votes and 88 points to claim the top spot. Maryland Eastern Shore followed in second with 67 points, while UAB (66) and Delaware State (62) rounded out the top four. Morgan State (45), Coppin State (27), Howard (27) and Norfolk State (14) completed the preseason poll.

Joining White on the Bowling Preseason All-Conference Team are Maryland Eastern Shore’s Mariane Almeida; Delaware State’s Amina Hall, Ryan Starke and Hannah Perry; and Howard’s Soraya Brinson.
