Norfolk, Va. -- The No. 12-ranked North Carolina A&T State Aggies will represent the MEAC in the 2026 NCAA Bowling Championship, traveling to Lansing, Michigan, regional to face defending national champions, the Youngstown State Penguins. The Aggies will open tournament play against Youngstown State on Friday, April 3, at 9 a.m. ET at Royal Scot Bowling Center.
North Carolina A&T enters the 19-team championship with a 73-35 record, coming off back-to-back MEAC titles, its fifth in the last six years. By winning the MEAC Championship, the Aggies earned one of 11 automatic NCAA tournament bids.
Regional competition follows a double-elimination format, except for opening-round matches at five-team regional sites, which are single elimination. Each round is contested in a best-of-three match format, including a five-person traditional team match, Baker total pinfall, and best-of-seven Baker match play.
Winners of each regional advance to the national championship, where the title will be determined in a best-of-seven Baker match play. The championship match will air on ESPNU at 6:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 11.
