NORFOLK, Va. – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced its weekly volleyball honors on Monday, naming Coppin State’s Deviana Walker Player of the Week. North Carolina Central's Breylan Fairley earned Setter of the Week honors, while Delaware State's Duura Kpea was named Rookie of the Week. Delaware State's Courtney Nix earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. 
 
Player of the Week: Deviana Walker | Coppin State | Jr. | OH | Odenton, Md.  
Walker delivered a strong offensive performance during Coppin State’s 2-0 opening weekend, extending the team’s winning streak to nine matches. She recorded 15 kills with no errors at Norfolk State and added nine kills with only one error in the win at Howard, demonstrating consistent offensive strength on the road. 
  
Rookie of the Week: Duura Kpea | Delaware State | Fr. | MB/RS | Melissa, Texas 
Kpea made a significant impact at the net for the first-place Hornets (2-0 MEAC, 11-5 overall). She led the MEAC with nine total blocks, including six solo, and averaged 1.50 blocks per set, highlighting her defensive presence. 
  
Setter of the Week: Breylan Fairley | North Carolina Central | Fr. | S | Clermont, Fla. 
Fairley set a Division I school record with 59 assists in a five-set victory over Maryland Eastern Shore. She averaged nearly 12 assists per set and anchored the Eagles’ offense in their MEAC opener. 
  
Defensive Player of the Week: Courtney Nix | Delaware State | Sr. | L | Harrisburg, N.C. 
Nix helped secure consecutive 3-0 wins, keeping Delaware State atop the MEAC standings. She averaged 4.83 digs per set (29 total) and led the conference with nine service aces, showcasing strong defense and serving. 
  
Other Top Performers 
Jada Williams (Morgan State) - Recorded 27 kills, 19 digs, three blocks, and two service aces over eight sets, with a .250 hitting percentage. Achieved a 15-kill, 10-dig double-double in a conference-opening win at Norfolk State, ending an eight-match losing streak. Also hit .310 with 12 kills and nine digs against Howard. 

Eva Rovello (Coppin State) - Led the Eagles' offense to consecutive 3-0 road victories over Norfolk State and Howard, while achieving the team's highest hitting percentage.
