PHILADELPHIA (April 25, 2026) – Howard University women's track & field squad competed in the annual Penn Relays, hosted by the Quakers, where several Bison medaled in Philly (Philadelphia).
Graduate
Marcia Sey (London, United Kingdom) and second-year Bison
Cenaiya Billups (Denver) headlined the event, each earning silver in the 100-meter dash (13.45) and 400-meter hurdles (56.87), respectively. Senior hurdler
Aniya Woodruff (Harrisburg, N.C.) also took part in the long hurdles, placing sixth overall (58.14).

Zoe Turner (Mableton, Ga.) and juniors
Mackenzie Robinson (Ypsilanti, Mich.) and
Yahnari Lyons (Hampton, Ga.) represented Bison Nation in the 4x200 relay, finishing third overall (1:32.81). The 4x400 relay squad, consisting of Billups, Turner, Woodruff and sophomore
Lindsay Johnson (Detroit), also took bronze with a 3:34.22 mark.

Aiyana Gray-Williams (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and rookie
Nilijah Darden (Greensboro, N.C.) ran the 4x100 relay, placing fifth (45.31).
In the field, senior
Kelis Armstrong (Plano, Texas) leaped 11.52 meters (37'9.5") in the triple jump where she finished eighth.
On May 1-2, HU closes out its regular season in Greensboro, N.C., for the Aggie Invitational, hosted by North Carolina A&T State.
