SCSU Men’s Tennis Close Out Regular Season With Win Over Coastal Carolina

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State men's tennis team closed out the regular season with a 4-0 shutout win over visiting Coastal Carolina Saturday (April.11) inside the Hardeep Judge Tennis Center.
 
South Carolina State improved to 11-7 overall, 5-0 in the MEAC and will be the top-seed in the upcoming MEAC Men's Tennis Tournament. The Bulldogs clinched the MEAC Regular Season Title with a perfect 5-0 league mark this season.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • SC State swept the doubles point with wins on all three courts to take an early 1-0 lead.
  • The Bulldogs carried that momentum into singles play, earning straight-set victories on courts one, four, and five to clinch the match.
