Howard captured the MEAC championship with a 70–63 victory over the North Carolina Central, led by 14 points each from Bryce Harris, Cam Gillus, Ose Okojie for the Howard Bison. Harris was named Tournament Outstanding Player, while head coach Kenneth Blakney earned Outstanding Coach honors after guiding Howard to the title.  Story too come.
