NORFOLK, Va., January 5, 2026 – Coppin State guard Khila Morris was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week presented by Wells Fargo.
Delaware State guard Amya Scott was named Rookie of the Week, while
Howard forward Nile Miller earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively.
Morris (G, 5-11, Sr., Bronx, NY.) delivered a career-high 26 points, including the game-winning layup against Delaware State, while adding 13 rebounds and three steals to lead Coppin State to a 1–0 start in conference play.
Scott (Fr., 5-3, F., Philadelphia, Pa.) contributed 21 points, along with three rebounds, four assists, and two steals against NJIT. She followed that performance with 16 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals versus Coppin State. On the week, Scott averaged 18.5 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in two games for Delaware State.
Miller (F, 6-1, Sr., Woodbury, NJ.) registered 15 rebounds, six steals, and two blocks while adding 23 points in a 1–1 week for the Bison.

- Lemyiah Harris (SCSU) recorded 28 points, four rebounds and three steals in the game versus Howard.
- Liliana Harrison (DSU) posted 14 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks against NJIT.
- Ariella Henigan (HOW) finished with 11 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals in a 1-1 week for the Bison.
- Tiyanna James (MSU) averaged 13.5 points and 2.0 steals on the week while shooting 60 percent, including 6-of-10 from three-point range.
- Zennia Thomas (HOW) posted her sixth double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds in Howard’s conference-opening win over South Carolina State.
- Kaliya Perry (UMES) totaled 29 points and 23 rebounds across three games for the Hawks.
