HARRISONBURG, Va. – After taking a five-point lead with under five minutes left in the contest, North Carolina Central couldn't stop James Madison's final run as the Dukes defeated the Eagles 67-62 on Wednesday evening at the Atlantic Union Bank Center.
NCCU (3-7) was led by Gage Lattimore and Dionte Johnson, the only double figure scorers wearing maroon and gray. Lattimore netted 29 points on 41.6 percent shooting. Johnson was 4-of-7 from the field, a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line and knocked down two threes for a new season-high of 16 points.

BALTIMORE – Despite shooting 56.0% from the floor, the Coppin State men's basketball team fell at local rival Loyola Maryland, 95-84, on Sunday night at Reitz Arena. The Eagles fell to 2-8 on the season while the Greyhounds improved to 4-5.
Five CSU players scored in double figures, led by Hassan Perkins with a career-high 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting to go with five assists. Perkins hit 6-of-11 from the floor, including a 3-pointer, and all six of his free throws.

DOVER, DE -- Corey Perkins went off for a triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, but the Delaware State men's basketball team fell to the Navy Midshipmen 66-59 at home Wednesday.
Perkins recorded a triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Hornets (2-8). Miles Webb added nine points and eight rebounds from the bench and Dean Shepherd helped out with five points and three steals from the bench.
