NORFOLK, Va., Dec. 17, 2025-- Howard freshman Gabrielle White was selected as Women's Track Athlete of the Week while Bison teammate Temi Banwo earned Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors.    

White (Fr., Silver Springs, Md) claimed gold in the 60-meter hurdles at the Seahawk Shootout with a time of 8.48, ranking second in the MEAC and 26th nationally.
 
Banwo (Sr., Allen, Texas) won the weight throw at the Seahawk Shootout, recording a MEAC-best toss of 15.36 meters.
