MEAC football will once again take center stage in primetime on Friday, November 7, as the Delaware State Hornets travel to Baltimore, Md., to face the Morgan State Bears at Hughes Stadium. The game will air live nationally on ESPNU at 7:00 p.m. ET as part of the MEAC’s 2025 broadcast schedule.

Delaware State, led by first-year head coach and former NFL standout DeSean Jackson, enters the matchup with a 6-3 overall record and a 2-0 mark in conferece play, tying for first in the MEAC standings. The Hornets are coming off a 27-20 victory over Norfolk State last week in another nationally televised contest at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The 2-0 start marks Delaware State’s best conference opening since 2005 and gives the Hornets their most MEAC wins in two seasons.

Offensively, Delaware State leads the MEAC in scoring, averaging 36.7 points per game, powered by standout running back Marquis Gillis, who averages 104 rushing yards per contest.

Morgan State, under head coach Damon Wilson, looks to bounce back after a narrow 36-30 loss to South Carolina State last week. The Bears hold a 3-6 overall record and are seeking their first conference win of the season. Freshman quarterback Raymond Moore III, a three-time MEAC Rookie of the Week honoree, has been a bright spot for the Bears’ offense.

Friday’s game marks the third of four nationally televised MEAC football matchups on ESPN platforms this season. Earlier broadcasts included Norfolk State’s season opener against Towson and Delaware State’s win over Norfolk State.

The MEAC’s final ESPN broadcast of the season is slated for Friday, November 14, when South Carolina State faces North Carolina Central at O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium in Durham, N.C. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
