TOWSON, Md. – Erin Henry and Patricia Sosa Lora scored 12 points apiece as Coppin State's women's basketball team fell at Towson, 65-54 on Sunday afternoon at TU Arena. The Eagles fell to 1-4 on the year while the Tigers now stand at 3-2.
Henry's 12 points were a career-high as the junior guard hit 4-of-10 from the floor and three 3-pointers to go with six rebounds and two assists. Sosa Lora buried 5-of-10 field goals to go with four rebounds off the bench.

CHICAGO – The University of Maryland Eastern Shore took an early lead against Loyola Chicago and despite the Ramblers' second half comeback efforts, the Hawks secured a 70-67 road win in the two programs' first-ever meeting.
Brianna Barnes scored a team-best 20 points while adding five rebounds, five assists and two steals. Lainey Allen scored another 13 points while recording a double-double by pulling down 10 boards. The senior added three blocks, a steal and an assist in the win.

AMES, Iowa — The Norfolk State women's basketball team continued its stretch against nationally ranked opponents on Sunday, falling to No. 16 Iowa State 98–52 at Hilton Coliseum.
The Spartans dropped to 2–3, while Iowa State remained unbeaten at 5–0. Jasha Clinton led NSU with 17 points and a career-high nine made free throws. Anjanae Richardson added 13 points, and Carmen Kweti pulled down a team-high five rebounds. Norfolk State shot 77.8 percent from the free-throw line (14-of-18) and forced the Cyclones into 12 turnovers.
