MEAC Announces Weekly Men’s Track & Field Honors

NORFOLK, Va., May. 7, 2025 — Howard graduate student Noah Langford was named Men’s Track Athlete of the Week, while Bison teammate Kyle Fisher earned Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors. 

Langford (Gr., Virginia Beach, Va.) placed third in the 110-meter hurdles at the Aggie Classic, clocking a MEAC season-best 13.91 time. 

Fisher (Sr., Duluth, Ga.) secured second place in the triple jump at the Aggie Classic with a MEAC-best mark of 15.63 meters, ranking 31st nationally. 

Other Top Performers
· Robert Carter Jr. (SCSU) recorded a throw of 55.09 meters in the javelin to finish ninth at the UNF East Coast Relays.
· Marian Drazan (DSU) finished third in the 1500m running a 3:53.51 time at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational, setting a DSU school record and ranking Top 3 in the MEAC this season.
· Dante Jackson (MSU) won the 400m dash with a personal best 46.35 time and helped Morgan’s 4x100m relay team to victory clocking in at 41.37 at the Kehoe Twilight Meet.
· Christopher Johnson (DSU) placed fourth in shot put at the Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational with a mark of 16.16 meters.
· Jonathan Raijon-Koger (NCCU) won the men’s high jump at the Duke Twilight with a personal best leap of 2.09 meters, tying him for eighth in the Southeast region this season.
· Isaiah Vertus (SCSU) ran a personal best 21.68 time in the 200m dash to place 15th at the UNF East Coast Relays.
