MEAC Announces Weekly Men’s Track & Field Honors

NORFOLK, Va., Apr. 16, 2025 — Howard graduate student Noah Langford was named Men’s Track Athlete of the Week while Bison teammate Kyle Fisher earned Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors.   

Langford (Gr., Virginia Beach, Va.) placed third in the 110m hurdles at the Duke Invitational with a time of 13.98 which ranks second in the MEAC this season. 
Fisher (Sr., Duluth, Ga.) earned silver as the runner-up in the long jump at the Duke Invitational with a MEAC-best leap of 7.45 meters.  
  
Other Top Performers  
  • Christopher Basking (NSU) won the 100m dash at the Duke Invitational with a time of 10.48 while also placing sixth in the 200m dash with a time of 21.24.  
  • Jaymes Saunders (NSU) recorded a personal best in the 110m hurdles clocking in at 14.95 and finished fourth in the Group B high jump with a 1.86m height.  
  • Bryce Wilson (SCSU) claimed third in the 110m hurdles at the USC Gamecock Invitational with a personal-best time of 14.24.
