GAINESVILLE, FL – The South Carolina State track and field teams return to action Friday at the two-day (Jan. 24-25) RADD College Invitational and Multis at the Alachua Country Sports Center in Gainesville, FL.

In its last outing at the USC Opener in Columbia, SC, SC State had a strong outing, placing first in the men's pole vault, and third in the women's high with personal records, respectively, from Michael Hopkins (4.75m/15-07.00ft.) and Kennedy Spears (1.65m/5-05.00ft.). Coach Donald Cooper's teams had a combined eighteen (18) Top 10 finishes at the event.

ABOUT SC STATE ATHLETICS
South Carolina State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently fields teams in 14 sports: women's volleyball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's indoor track & field, softball, men's and women's outdoor track and field, women's soccer and football with all teams competing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), except for women's soccer.
