MEAC Set to Host 2024 Indoor Track & Field Championships

NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 17, 2024 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host the 2024 Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va., Sunday-Tuesday, Feb. 18-20.
 
Tuesday’s action will be streamed live on ESPN+, beginning at 1:30 p.m. with a recap of the morning events to kick off the broadcast.
 
Competition will get underway on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the start of the men’s heptathlon. Day one will also see the MEAC hand out its first medals of the three-day event, crowning champions in the men’s and women’s long jump and 5,000-meter runs.
 
The men’s heptathlon will wrap up at 9 a.m. on Monday, and the women’s heptathlon will get underway at 9:20 a.m. Running events will get kickoff with the women's and men's distance medley relays beginning at 12 p.m. and Tuesday’s action will wrap up with the women’s and men’s 4x400 meter relay races.
 
Tickets are currently on sale through the Virginia Beach Sports Center and will also be on sale on-site throughout the event. There will be no cash sales. Fans can purchase single-day tickets for $15 on Sunday, $20 on Monday and $25 on Tuesday.
 
On Sunday, a three-day pass will be available for $20. On Monday, fans can purchase a two-day pass for $25. As an added bonus, fans that buy the ticket bundles will receive a discount code for tickets to the MEAC Basketball Tournament, March 13-16.
