NORFOLK, Va., Feb. 16, 2023 – The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host the 2023 Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va., Sunday-Tuesday, Feb. 19-21.
Tuesday’s action will be streamed live on the MEAC Digital Network on YouTube, in its entirety, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Competition will get underway on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the start of the men’s heptathlon. Day one will also see the MEAC hand out its first medals of the three-day event, crowning champions in the men’s and women’s long jump and 5,000-meter runs.
The men’s heptathlon will wrap up at 9 a.m. on Monday, and the women’s heptathlon will get underway at 9:20 a.m. Running events will get underway with the women’s 60-meter hurdle preliminary heats at 12 p.m., and Tuesday’s action will wrap up with the women’s and men’s distance medley races.
Wednesday’s action will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with the women’s pole vault. Running events will get underway at 12:30 p.m. with the women’s mile run.
Tickets are currently on sale through the Virginia Beach Sports Center and will also be on sale on-site throughout the event. There will be no cash sales. Fans can purchase single-day tickets for $15 on Sunday, $20 on Monday and $25 on Tuesday.
On Sunday, a three-day pass will be available for $20. On Monday, fans can purchase a two-day pass for $25.
