Norfolk State Shines at Gamecock Opener
 
COLUMBIA, S.C.--Freshman Savien Hayes and sophomore Kai Cole both notched a pair of top-10 finishes in the sprints to pace the NSU men's track and field team over the weekend at the Gamecock Opener hosted by the University of South Carolina. The Spartan trio of Martha BissahKiara Grant and Malika Pride opened up in their specialty events over the weekend, and each posted one of the nation's top times for the women's track team.

NCAT’s Brown, Ryans Earn Victories at South Carolina
 
COLUMBIA, S.C.--The North Carolina A&T State track & field program showed off its depth this weekend at the Gamecock Opener hosted by the University of South Carolina at the South Carolina Indoor Track and Field Complex. The Aggies earned victories in the women's pole vault and the women's high jump.

B-CU’s Williams, McCoy Shine at South Carolina
 
COLUMBIA, S.C.--Jordan Williams ran the nation’s fourth fastest 400 meters of the 2019-20 indoor season while Marc McCoy posted the 24th longest triple jump to highlight Bethune-Cookman’s effort at the Gamecock Opener at the University of South Carolina.

LANDOVER, Md.—Coppin State’s men finished third at the Maryland Terrapin Invitational at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex, while the women came in fourth over the weekend.

LANDOVER, Md.—The Delaware State men finished in first place overall with a team score of 119.5 points at the Terrapin Invitational on Saturday afternoon, while the Lady Hornets placed third with 76.5 points on the day.

Howard Provides Bright Spots in Two Meets
 
BLACKSBURG, Va./LANDOVER, Md.—The Howard men’s and women’s track & field teams competed in a pair of meets at the Virginia Tech Invitational hosted by the Hokies and the Terrapin Invitational hosted by Maryland.

Morgan State Men’s Track Concludes Competition at Gamecocks Opener
 
COLUMBIA, S.C.--The Morgan State men's track & field team had nine top-10 finishes and earned one podium finish at the Gamecock Opener this past weekend. Junior Kobe-Jordan Rhooms took home second-place honors in the men's long jump with a leap of 7.02 meters (23'0.5") and also placed sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.98 meters (6'6") along with sophomore teammate Lamar Davis.

NCCU Nabs 17 Top-10 Performances at JDL January KIckoff

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.--
In North Carolina Central's first indoor track & field competition since the holiday break, NCCU claimed 17 top-3 performances with six event wins at the JDL January College Kick-Off on Sunday.
